I tried my hand at English floristry

... it's somewhat different to what we do here ...

Carnations a plenty, on the other hand, check out that pink and green bouvardia.

Peel

... it's the name of a town. Cousin Liam and I had a lovely afternoon skipping stones into the surf, climbing rocks, exploring the ancient castle and taking photos (number 2 is his).

Things one does on a sleepy island

Sharpen pencils for your cousin's art homework ...

Bake Lemon Curd Fairy Cakes for your Nana's birthday ...

Be continuously amused by the cuteness of slightly annoying and very snuffly small dogs ...

I love the IOM

As the memories of my overseas trip quickly fade, to be recalled only during times of  relative quietness; I finally find a couple of hours to share a few of them with you.
Let's work backwards. Here are some of the images collected on the Isle of Man; homeland to my mother and heartland to myself.

An afternoon stroll: Nana, me and three excited terriers.

but it's my first and only day off in ages, the sun's out and rumour has it melbourne is going to get to 25degrees today .... so I'm going to the park!

Executive Decisions

Now that I am about two thirds of the way through my overseas trip, I have decided ... I'm also on holiday from my blog! With all good intentions, I had thought that I would be able to get in some posts to share with you my excitement over, Copenhagen, Birmingham, London and the Isle of Man. However, I've decided now that it's not going to happen. Firstly, I have too many other important things to do and secondly, I don't wish to encourage my Nana's belief that all we young ones do is play on the computer.
So, bon nuit for the time. I'll see you in ten days or so.
